Sorrento Brown

Sorrento carpet by Gio Ponti

A chessboard pattern lies at the heart of Sorrento, an open reference to Gio Ponti's design of prized ceramics made for the floors of the Parco Principi hotel in the town of Vietri, Italy. Masterpieces such as Tibetan wool and natural silk varieties are more than just furnishing accessories, as they bring into our homes a sense of harmony and proportion struck by the perfect balance between design, form and colour.
