Ziegler Afghan mats.

These carpets are made in Afghanistan according to traditions established in the Arak region of western Iran. The British company Ziegler & Co. started the production of carpets there adapted to European tastes in the years 1883 - 1930. The designs are often copied from Persian carpets. The wool is of very high quality and dyed with natural vegetable dyes.
